Politico. A great political…site? Blog? Not sure what to call it. A different spin than the usual sources.

Photoshop and Illustrator Magnets Cast Suspicion On Your Photography Skills [Magnets]

From Gizmodo:

“Photoshop and Illustrator Magnets Cast Suspicion On Your Photography Skills [Magnets]

Like these ads but without the social commentary, these magnets can make a whiteboard full of photos look like a screenshot of Photoshop or Illustrator.

The magnets have the look of CS3 on a Mac, and include a number of contextual windows, palettes, and the all-important menu bar for creating the perfect fake destop. They retail for $65-95 depending on size and number of magnets, and can be found at the designers’ website. [Technabob]

Sorta funny.

Molly’s Big Day

Molly had a pretty big day today. Involved her usual morning of napping, eating and playing mixed in with an afternoon adventure to St. Augustine.
Newsworthy items:

  • First visit to St. Augustine
  • First mashed potatoes
  • First fish (broiled Mahi Mahi)
  • Crawling-like motion with true forward progress
  • Came eye-to-eye with a seagull
  • First trip to a marina
  • First time on a floating dock

Santa Maria Restaurant

Santa Maria Restaurant

Went here for lunch today. Pretty good food, very fun setting with Molly. We sat over the water (restaurant is on a landing, so the description is accurate!) and they have covered vents you can open. Why? Our waiter brought us left-over bread, specifying it was for the birds.

Open the vent, drop the bread, watch the birds go nuts, watch Molly’s eyes bounce around! Very fun.
